The Culinary Accompaniment of the Vienna Summer Ball
The culinary accompaniment to the Vienna Summer Ball was an equally enjoyable and lovingly curated part of the evening, reflecting a blend of tradition, regionality, and contemporary taste.
For the hearty main course, Schlosswirtin Kittsee treated our guests to a classic goulash made with regional meat. As a plant-based alternative, a vegan potato-and-pumpkin goulash was served. The selection was complemented by traditional Sacher sausages as well as vegan sausages from Radatz, ensuring there was something to suit every taste. Freshly baked bread rolls and a selection of sweet desserts from Ströck rounded off the culinary offering perfectly.
The drinks selection also left nothing to be desired: refreshing cold beer from Ottakringer, selected wines from Weingut Glock, and red wine from Weingut NHN Höflein/Gürer accompanied the evening in fine style. The sparkling wine reception was supported by effervescent specialties from Weingut Kattus.
The culinary experience was completed with the finest coffee, generously provided by Julius Meinl—an indulgent moment that lasted well into the late hours of the ball night.
